St. Joseph Regional Medical Center in Lewiston, Idaho, is cutting 47 positions, which will lead to 24 layoffs, according to a KLEWTV report.
The layoffs will affect full- and part-time employees, mostly support staff, according to the report.
The staff cuts at St. Joseph Regional are a result of cuts associated with the sequester as well as other reimbursement cuts, KLEWTV reported.
