Winona (Minn.) Health is joining forces with Bright.md to offer telehealth services via the company's SmartExam solution.
SmartExam is an asynchronous virtual care platform. Patients can use it to seek care for more than 400 common medical conditions using their smart phone or computer. Providers can review information, ensure appropriate treatment plans and prescribe medications via the platform. Patients' EMRs are updated automatically.
Winona Health is a nonprofit health system that includes a 49-bed hospital, 110-bed nursing home and 60-apartment assisted living community as well as 90-plus physicians and associate providers and 1,100-plus employees.
