York, Pa.-based WellSpan Health deployed its new digital urgent care clinic for patients to access entirely online, local CBS affiliate WHP-TV reports.
The clinic offers various options to connect with a WellSpan provider: by video, sending pictures or video of the medical issue or calling in online. WellSpan said that a physician will respond to the patients within minutes of the virtual request, according to the report.
Patients can use the service, which costs $49, to receive a diagnosis for non-emergency medical conditions. The physician can also write a prescription and schedule follow up care within the patients' EHR if necessary.
