Teladoc appointed Peter McClennen to the newly-created position of president, effective Nov. 1.
Here are three things to know about the appointment.
1. Mr. McClennen is the former CEO of Best Doctors, a medical consultation company Teladoc acquired in July. Mr. McClennen most recently served as president of Teladoc's Best Doctors division.
2. In the new role, Mr. McClennen will assume responsibility for Teladoc's commercial operations across the globe, including sales, account management, product development and strategy.
3. Mr. McClennen will report directly to Teladoc CEO Jason Gorevic.
