Telehealth giant Teladoc Health is expanding its partnership with digital benefits provider HealthJoy to include virtual primary care.
The expansion builds off of a 2022 partnership by making Teladoc's virtual primary care options available to employers through HealthJoy. HealthJoy partners with more than 1,000 U.S. employers, according to a May 11 HealthJoy news release.
In October 2022, HealthJoy raised $60 million.
"As nationwide provider shortages continue to persist, we are eager to see this expansion with HealthJoy provide members with easier and more convenient access to primary care," Kelly Bliss, president of U.S. group health at Teladoc, said in the news release.
