Carena, a Seattle-based telemedicine startup, raised $6 million in a recent round of funding, according to GeekWire.com.
This round brings Carena's total funding to more than $30 million, GeekWire.com reports. The company designs and operates telemedicine services for healthcare providers, working with more than 120 hospitals in the U.S. Carena also provides and manages its video conferencing platform by offering providers on-going technical and project management support.
The company, which was founded in 2000, has been led by CEO Ralph Derrickson since 2006, according to GeekWire.com.
