Wayne Grodsky is joining the executive team at Specialists on Call as chief growth officer, the company announced Tuesday.
In this role, Mr. Grodsky will guide business development, marketing and client success for the acute care telehealth provider.
Mr. Grodsky has more than 25 years of healthcare experience, working with hospital systems, physician practices and health plans. He previously served as enterprise growth officer at ZirMed, a revenue cycle management solutions company, and prior to that, as chief growth officer for Optum's risk and quality solutions business.
"Wayne has a proven track record of driving value through revenue optimization and stabilization, workflow and process improvement, integrated innovative technology and compliance. His background and vast experience will help SOC evolve as we continue to innovate and grow," said SOC's CEO Hammad Shah. "Bringing in a chief growth officer signifies SOC's readiness to rapidly scale the business after significant investment in our state-of-the-art telemedicine platform."
