Hermiston, Ore.-based Good Shepherd Health Care System opened a 24/7 virtual healthcare clinic using telehealth provider Carena's platform.
Here are four things to know about the clinic.
1. The Good Shepherd Virtual Care Clinic allows patients to access health services through a smartphone, tablet or computer for $35 per visit.
2. Available health services include diagnoses, prescriptions and ability to schedule follow-up appointments with Good Shepherd Health physicians.
3. The virtual clinic will become a part of the health system's network and will be able to connect patients in Oregon and Washington to Good Shepherd services. The health system said the clinic will also help patients remain in-network.
4. The clinic's app will launch April 20.
