Four Georgia hospitals are part of a new rural telehealth expansion project with the Georgia Health Information Network.
The program is being funded through a $1 million grant from the U.S. Department of Agriculture. The rural network will aim to increase the telehealth availability of rural and underserved communities, according to a June 29 Georgia Health Information Network news release.
The Georgia hospitals participating in the network:
- Louisville-based Jefferson Hospital
- Swainsboro-based Emanuel Medical Center
- Washington-based Willis Memorial Hospital
- Sandersville-based Washington County Regional Medical Center
