Community Health Ventures recently entered into a group purchasing agreement with Mundelein, Ill.-based Medline under its Value in Purchasing Program.
Community Health Ventures — the Alexandria, Va.-based business development associate of the National Association of Community Health Centers — negotiates group purchasing agreements to help health centers lower costs and stay competitive.
Through the agreement, Medline will offer its portfolio of patient care products to ViP members at a 10 percent discount.
Medline will also provide members with free access to its online education tool, Medline University, and offer value-added programs on topics like infection control and safety.
The contract is in effect until February 2019.
