Altamonte Springs, Fla.-based AdventHealth has introduced a new executive role: chief AI officer.
Rob Purinton, previously AdventHealth's vice president of analytics and performance improvement, has been appointed to the position, announcing the news via LinkedIn on Jan. 5.
As chief AI officer, Mr. Purinton will oversee AdventHealth's enterprise-wide AI strategy. His responsibilities include collaborating with industry, technology and academic partners to research, develop and implement AI solutions that enhance existing processes or enable new ones. He will also ensure the organization's AI portfolio aligns with its risk, compliance and value goals while fostering the development of AI platforms and skills to support scalable and lasting transformation.
