In 2024, healthcare supply improvement company Premier has been steadily racking up partnerships with group purchasing organizations, health systems and drugmakers.

Premier partners with ophthalmology GPO
EyeProGPO, an ophthalmology-focused group purchasing organization, partnered with Premier April 18.
Through the partnership, ASCs and physician offices in Premier's network will have access to EyeProGPO's portfolio of ophthalmology and surgical items. EyeProGPO members will, in turn, have access to hundreds of suppliers through Premier's group purchasing portfolio.
Beebe Healthcare chooses Premier
Lewes, Del.-based Beebe Healthcare partnered with Premier April 3.
As part of the deal, three Beebe supply chain employees will transition to Premier's Nexera, a healthcare supply chain consulting firm. The health system will now access Premier's management and consulting team to increase efficiencies.
PINC AI wins Best in KLAS award
Premier division PINC AI, which offers consulting services to hospitals and health systems on value-based care models, won a 2024 Best in KLAS award.
The company previously won the award in 2016, 2017, 2022 and 2023.
3 drugmakers team up with Premier
Amneal Pharmaceuticals, Exela Pharma Sciences and Hikma Pharmaceuticals partnered with Premier Jan. 17 to supply five vital medications.
The therapies are potassium phosphate, cupric chloride, potassium acetate, zinc chloride and fentanyl. Most are on the FDA's list of essential medicines, and the partnership aims to maintain a steady supply of the medicines for hospitals and other providers.
