1. LifeBridge renames Bon Secours Baltimore Hospital
Bon Secours Baltimore Hospital has a new name: Grace Medical Center.
2. Partners rebrands to Mass General Brigham
For the first time in 25 years, Boston-based Partners HealthCare will have a new name: Mass General Brigham.
3. South Dakota health system to join Mayo network, change name
Regional Health, a five-hospital system based in Rapid City, S.D., will change its name to Monument Health and join the Mayo Clinic Care Network in January.
4. Providence St. Joseph to rebrand in 2020
Renton, Wash.-based Providence St. Joseph Health is unifying its 51 hospitals, 829 clinics and other entities under the "Providence" brand in 2020, the system announced Nov. 11.
5. Wisconsin hospital changes name after joining Marshfield Clinic
Beaver Dam (Wis.) Community Hospital has changed its name after becoming part of Marshfield (Wis.) Clinic.
6. U of Louisville's first change to KentuckyOne hospitals after deal: Their names
The University of Louisville (Ky.) will rename Jewish Hospital and KentuckyOne Health's other Louisville assets after their sale to the University of Louisville.
7. Children's Hospital of Wisconsin is now Children's Wisconsin
Children's Hospital of Wisconsin in Milwaukee changed its name to Children's Wisconsin Oct. 21.
8. Virtua launches new brand, look
Marlton, N.J.-based Virtua unveiled its new brand, including a new brand strategy and logo Oct. 7. Changes to the Virtua brand include the formal inclusion of the word "Health" in its name as well as a new positioning strategy: Here for Good.
9. Meet M Health Fairview, a new brand linking 13 hospitals in Minnesota
Minneapolis-based Fairview Health Services, University of Minnesota and University of Minnesota Physicians have launched their new brand: M Health Fairview.
10. Delaware's largest health system has a new name
Wilmington, Del.-based Christiana Care System, the largest health system in the state, has adopted a new name: ChristianaCare.
11. South Nassau changes name after finalizing Mount Sinai partnership
Oceanside, N.Y.-based South Nassau Communities Hospital has been renamed Mount Sinai South Nassau, effective immediately, more than nine months after finalizing its partnership with the New York City-based Mount Sinai Health System.
12. Maryland hospitals merge, unveil name for combined system
Anne Arundel Medical Center in Annapolis, Md., and Doctors Community Health System, a single-hospital system based in Lanham, Md., have merged to create a new system: Luminis Health.
13. Atrium Health rebrands Concord hospital
Atrium Health's hospital campus in Concord, N.C., has a new name. The facility, previously called Carolinas HealthCare System NorthEast, will be called Atrium Health Cabarrus, effective Aug. 2.
14. Marin General to rebrand: 5 things to know
Greenbrae, Calif.-based Marin General Hospital and its partners have formed a single healthcare entity called MarinHealth, the organizations said July 30.
15. Ascension rebrands community health sites in 3 states
St. Louis-based Ascension is rebranding its community health services in Louisiana, Arkansas and Texas as part of a larger effort to standardize the integrated health system under a unified name. The Daughters of Charity Services in Arkansas and Louisiana will rebrand to DePaul Community Health Services, while the Texas division will operate as Ascension DePaul Services. All groups will adopt the Ascension logo.
16. UPMC hospital quietly changes name
UPMC Pinnacle Lititz (Pa.) quietly dropped the Pinnacle from its name July 1.
17. MercyOne Health unifies 450+ care locations under one brand
Clive, Iowa-based Mercy Health Network unveiled a new brand and name Feb. 1. The health network rebranded to MercyOne to reflect the organization's growth in the last 20 years.
18. Cleveland Clinic renames 4 hospitals
Cleveland Clinic unveiled new names for four Florida hospitals it acquired Jan. 1. Indian River Medical Center in Vero Beach is now Cleveland Clinic Indian River Hospital. Cleveland Clinic renamed Martin Health System, a three-hospital system in Stuart, Cleveland Clinic Martin Health. Martin Health's three hospitals also were rebranded to include the Cleveland Clinic name.
19. CommonSpirit Health brand emerges after merger finalized
As of Feb. 1, there's a new name in healthcare: CommonSpirit Health. The $29 billion Chicago-based system, formed by the merger of Dignity Health and Catholic Health Initiatives, is jointly led by two CEOs who believe everyone deserves access to affordable, quality healthcare.
20. CHI rebrands select KentuckyOne Health facilities
Louisville-based KentuckyOne Health and its parent company revealed plans Jan. 22 to rebrand its facilities in the eastern and western parts of the state.The facilities will be rebranded CHI Saint Joseph Health. Officials said the goal of the rebrand is to unify the organization under a single strategic vision heralded by the facilities' parent company, Englewood, Colo.-based Catholic Health Initiatives.
21. Adventist Health System completes rebranding at 47 hospitals
Adventist Health System has officially completed its rebrand to AdventHealth, the Altamonte Springs, Fla.-based system announced Jan. 2.
22. Citrus Valley Health partners rebrands
Citras Valley Health Partners in Covina, Calif., rebranded to Emanate Health in May.
