Jefferson Regional Medical Center in Missouri to Change Name

Chesterfield, Mo.-based Mercy announced that Jefferson Regional Medical Center in Festus, Mo., is changing its name to Mercy Hospital Jefferson, effective April 1, to reflect its connection to the health system.

The hospital and its programs will also now use Mercy's logo. In 2011, Mercy began rolling out new names and a common logo across its hospitals to simplify its naming system and better illustrate its unification as a system.

Jefferson Regional Medical Center officially joined Mercy Feb. 1.
