American hospitals ranked highly in Newsweek's 2024 "World's Best Specialized Hospitals."
The 2024 rankings for 12 medical fields were based on a global survey of tens of thousands of medical professionals. The surveys were distributed from June to July 2023.
The list featured the top 300 hospitals for cardiology and oncology, top 250 for pediatrics, top 150 for cardiac surgery, endocrinology and gastroenterology, 125 for neurology, neurosurgery, orthopedics, pulmonology and urology and top 100 for obstetrics and gynecology, which is featured for the first time.
