Becker's has compiled a list of the 10 inpatient rehabilitation hospitals with the lowest readmission rates per CMS's Inpatient Rehabilitation Facility Provider Data.

The data is based on the quality of patient care measures shown on Inpatient Rehabilitation Facility Compare.

Here are the rehabilitation hospitals with the lowest readmission rates:

  1. Winifred Masterson Burke Rehabilitation Hospital (White Plains, N.Y.): 5.03

  2. Lancaster (Pa.) Rehabilitation Hospital: 5.2

  3. Siskin Hospital for Physical Rehabilitation (Chattanooga, Tenn.): 5.33

  4. Encompass Health Rehab Hospital of Littleton (Colo.): 5.49

  5. Moses H. Cone Memorial Hospital (Greensboro, N.C.): 5.5

  6. St. David's Medical Center (Austin, Texas): 5.53

  7. NewYork-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital (New York City): 5.54

  8. UVA Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital (Charlottesville, Va.): 5.55
