North Dakota Hospitals Add $4.7B to State's Economy

Hospitals and hospital employees in North Dakota contributed roughly $4.7 billion to the state's economy last year, according to a report from the North Dakota Hospital Association.

The report also found that for every dollar a hospital spends, another 68 cents is generated in other industries throughout the state.


North Dakota has 42 community hospitals that employ more than 21,500 full-time-equivalent employees.
