Children's Healthcare of Atlanta Has Strongest Financial Year of Decade

Children's Healthcare of Atlanta (Ga.) has reported the strongest financial year of the decade last year, with combined profits of more than $150 million, according to an Atlanta Journal-Constitution report.

Children's Scottish Rite and Egleston facilities reported an 18 percent and 20 percent profit margin last year, respectively. The two facilities merged 13 years ago, eliminating ongoing competition for patients and paving the way for continued financial success, according to the report.
