Shirley Ryan AbilityLab was ranked the top rehabilitation hospital by U.S. News and World Report, according to its 2024-2025 rankings.
U.S. News evaluated nearly 1,049 heart hospitals and ranked the top 50 that care for patients recovering from events including stroke, traumatic brain injuries and severe burns. The new ranking was released July 16.

4. Kessler Institute for Rehabilitation (West Orange, N.J.)
4. Rusk Rehabilitation at NYU Langone Hospitals (New York City)
6. Santa Clara Valley Medical Center (San Jose, Calif.)
7. Atrium Health Carolinas Rehabilitation (Charlotte, N.C.)
8. MossRehab (Elkins Park, Pa.)
9. Mary Free Bed Rehabilitation Hospital (Grand Rapids, Mich.)
10. Mayo Clinic-Rochester (Minn.)
