The Brooklyn Hospital, based in New York City, is teaming up with Clearway Health to gain access to medications that regional hospitals can have difficulty obtaining.
The collaboration is focused on specialty pharmacy services for underserved patients with complex medical conditions, according to an Aug. 2 news release. The hospital and Clearway plan to streamline specialty pharmacy services and "unlock access" to some medications, such as limited distribution drugs and therapies that have payer or pharmacy benefit manager lockouts.
