Mark Cuban Cost Plus Drug Co. will raise its pharmacy labor fee from $3 to $5, effective Sept. 1.
"As you may have noticed across the country, costs are going up. Unfortunately, Cost Plus Drugs is not immune to inflation," a June 2 news release shared with Becker's said.
In April, Mark Cuban floated this possibility during Becker's annual conference because of "the way that pharmacy handling costs are going right now."
"Our top priority is to continue to provide safe, affordable medications with transparent pricing," the release said. "The fee increase will help maintain the level of service that you have come to expect from us."
