Brown’s adult reconstruction fellowship honored by AAHKS

The Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University's Adult Reconstruction Fellowship is now among the first 50 programs nationwide to receive recognition from The American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons.

This new AAHKS recognition program, established in 2023, sets rigorous standards for fellowship training in adult reconstruction to ensure the highest quality education and training. The recognition emphasizes the program's commitment to excellence in training future arthroplasty surgeons.

Brown’s Adult Reconstruction Fellowship met comprehensive criteria, including program structure, faculty oversight, surgical volume, curriculum, research, and evaluations. This recognition is valid from July 1, 2024, and must be renewed every five years. Participation in the AAHKS recognition program will soon be a prerequisite for joining the AAHKS Fellowship Match and receiving grants.
