Baton Rouge General Medical Center is planning an expansion project totaling $40 million that includes four new operating rooms, according to a hospital news release.
The new ORs will have minimally invasive robotics technology and a hybrid operating suite. Construction will also include a 105,000-square-foot medical office building with a skywalk pathway.
The hospital expects a groundbreaking within the next six months.
