Five U.S. hospitals ranked in the top 10 of Newsweek's 2024 "World's Best Specialized Hospitals."
The 2024 rankings for 12 medical fields were based on a global survey of tens of thousands of medical professionals. The surveys were distributed from June to July 2023.
The list featured the top 300 hospitals for cardiology and oncology; top 250 for pediatrics; top 150 for cardiac surgery, endocrinology and gastroenterology; top 125 for neurology, neurosurgery, orthopedics, pulmonology and urology; and top 100 for obstetrics and gynecology, which is featured for the first time.
Here are the top 10 oncology hospitals in the world:

- Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (New York City)
- Mayo Clinic-Rochester (Minn.)
- Gustave Roussy (Villejuif, France)
- Samsung Medical Center (Seoul, South Korea)
- Asan Medical Center (Seoul, South Korea)
- The Royal Marsden Hospital-London
- Dana-Farber Cancer Institute (Boston)
- Seoul (South Korea) National University Hospital
- The Johns Hopkins Hospital (Baltimore)
