- Memphis-based University of Tennessee Health Science Center partnered with Lane College to create a pathway for students to continue their nursing education once they complete an associate degree.
- Pima Community College partnered with Tucson Unified School District schools to allow nursing students to fulfill their training requirements at one of the district's schools.
- Polk State College will expand its nursing program thanks to a $1.45 million state grant for nursing education.
- Arkansas State University-Mountain Home has received initial approval to offer an associate degree in registered nursing.
- Workforce Initiative for Nurses Academy, a charter school within BridgeValley Community and Technical College, will offer an accelerated nursing program for high school juniors and seniors.
- Buckhannon-based West Virginia Wesleyan College and Morgantown, W.Va.-based Mon Health System partnered to offer nursing students a scholarship opportunity and employment guarantee upon graduation.
