Ten hospitals have received Magnet designation for the first time this year, the American Nurses Credentialing Center told Becker's.
AANC's Magnet Recognition Program, first developed in 1990, recognizes hospitals for their excellence in nursing services.
Ten hospitals earning first-time designations through June:
- Banner University Medical Center Tucson (Ariz.)
- Orlando (Fla.) Health Orlando Regional Medical Center
- United Memorial Medical Center (Batavia, N.Y.)
- Baylor Scott & White Health-College Station (Texas)
- Memorial Hermann Katy (Texas) Hospital
- Kaiser Permanente Baldwin Park (Calif.) Medical Center
- Adventist Health Glendale (Calif.)
- UCHealth Memorial Health System (Colorado Springs, Colo.)
- Spaulding Hospital for Continuing Medical Care (Cambridge, Mass.)
- OhioHealth Mansfield (Ohio) Hospital
