Carrollton, Ga.-based Tanner Health System has broken ground on a medical complex in Wedowee, Ala., according to a Randolph Leader report.
The complex, dubbed Tanner/East Alabama, will be comprised of a two-story medical office building, which will offer "immediate care" services, primary and preventive care as well as specialty care such as cardiology and oncology. Construction for the medical office building, which is the first part of a multi-phase construction plan, is expected to be completed in the winter.
