Local physicians at McFarland Clinic in Ames, Iowa, have made a $1.2 million pledge to an expansion project envisioned by Mary Greeley Medical Center, also in Ames.
The 184 physicians' pledge will go toward Mary Greeley Medical Center Foundation's Extraordinary Visions, which is designed to support the medical center's $129 million construction project.
The project calls for a new six-story tower, expanded and relocated emergency department, a new main entrance with an enclosed skywalk and a new power plant.
