Swedish Medical Center-Edmonds (Wash.) Campus announced that it will embark upon a $63.5 million expansion, according to a report by The Herald Business Journal.
The expansion will include the construction of a two-story, 77,000-square-foot emergency department with a behavioral health unit and urgent care center. The expansion plans also include the addition of an outpatient diagnostic imaging center and an observation unit.
Construction is expected to be complete in fall 2015, according to the report.
