Geisinger-Community Medical Center Plans $80M Expansion

Geisinger-Community Medical Center in Scranton, Pa., announced it is planning an $80 million expansion, according to a Times Leader report.

The 105,000-square-foot expansion will include 14 surgical suites, a 21-bay preoperative area and an intensive care unit with 18 private rooms.

Construction is scheduled to be complete by summer of 2015, according to the report.
