Sarasota (Fla.) Memorial Health Care System announced the opening of a new urgent care center at the outpatient University Parkway campus in Sarasota.
The facility was expanded and moved from a different location, and is one of three urgent care centers Sarasota Memorial operates in the Sarasota-Manatee region.
The center will be staffed by emergency medicine and family physicians and will provide care for non-emergency conditions, such as sprains and fractures, skin rashes and sore throats. The center will also provide immunizations, imaging and lab testing.
