Norton Healthcare, based in Louisville, Ky., broke ground on the future Norton Women's Hospital and Kosair Children's Hospital-St. Matthews at Norton Suburban Hospital yesterday.
The Norton Women's Hospital will offer comprehensive services for women's healthcare need, and the Kosair Children's Hospital-St. Matthews will provide an extension of services already offered at the flagship Kosair Children's Hospital in downtown Louisville. New offerings include an inpatient eating disorders unit and support group, a migraine clinic, birthing services and an expended neonatal intensive care unit.
