Lexington (Neb.) Regional Health Center announced plans for a new outpatient service center.
The facility will include new surgery rooms, pre- and postoperative rooms and a room dedicated to telemedicine. The center provides additional needed space for the health center and allows for future growth of specialty services, according to the release.
Lexington Regional plans to begin construction on the outpatient center in the spring of 2013 and expects to complete the project the following year. After its completion, the hospital will renovate its existing building to upgrade patient rooms to private rooms.
