John Dubis, FACHE, has been CEO of Edgewood, Ky.-based St. Elizabeth Healthcare since 2011. Before becoming CEO, Mr. Dubis was the COO and executive vice president of St. Elizabeth.
Mr. Dubis has more than 34 years of senior healthcare experience and has served as COO and CEO at numerous hospitals and health systems, including SSM Cardinal Glennon's Children's Medical Center in St. Louis, The Jewish Hospital of St. Louis, and Alexian Brothers Hospital in St. Louis, among others.
During his time at St. Elizabeth, Mr. Dubis has had a hand in many of the changes and improvements made throughout the health system. He was part of the 2008 merger that brought the former St. Luke Hospitals and St. Elizabeth Medical Center together into one healthcare system. Mr. Dubis also led the effort to improve quality, customer service and efficiencies throughout the new health system. He has also worked to expand the programs and services offered by the health system.
Mr. Dubis serves on the boards of several organizations. He has been on the boards of the Kentucky Hospital Association, the Greater Cincinnati Health Council, the Northern Kentucky Chamber of Commerce, the Commerce and Commonwealth Club of Cincinnati, Vision 2015 and the Metropolitan Club.
