The newly expanded $330 million St. Luke's Hospital in Kansas City, Mo., will begin transitioning patients to the facility on Oct. 13, according to a St. Luke's Health System release.
The new St. Luke's Hospital features a state-of-the-art heart center that will serve as the home of Saint Luke's Mid America Heart Institute; private patient rooms with living areas; healing gardens; hybrid operating rooms and more.
The Heart Institute's previous location on the hospital's south side will be renovated and occupied by Saint Luke's Brain and Stroke Institute.
