Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton, Ohio, has begun the renovation and expansion of its emergency department, according to a Dayton Business Journal report.
The project will be completed in five phases and is expected to cost $12 million. It will feature 80 patient treatment spaces and 74 monitored beds.
The first phase will be completed by January with 17 newly renovated patient rooms. The project is expected to be completed in its entirety by November 2013.
