Memorial Hermann Northeast Hospital in Humble, Texas, has broken ground on a new $7.4 million convenient care center, according to an East Montgomery County Observer report.

The 30,000-square-foot facility will offer a variety of services, including lab work, wellness programs and physical therapy. The convenient care center, which is expected to open this fall, will also house a 24/7 emergency department.

The center is a pilot program of Houston-based Memorial Hermann Healthcare System, which plans to open 10 similar facilities in other locations, according to the report.
