Kiowa (Kan.) District Hospital will break ground on a new, approximately $8.2 million facility next month, according to a Wichita Eagle report.
The new facility will have the same number of beds as the current critical access hospital — eight — but will add an operating suite and expand its emergency room.
The hospital expects to complete the project in 2014.
