Johnson Controls, a Milwaukee-based global multi-industrial company, has completed the acquisition of Air Distribution Technologies, originally announced in April, for $1.6 billion.
Johnson Controls acquired 48 locations with more than 7,000 employees that produce a range of air distribution products.
"This investment expands Johnson Controls' position in the buildings space with additional products that are complimentary to our existing heating, ventilation and air conditioning offerings," Alex Molinaroli, chairman and CEO of Johnson Controls, said in an earlier news release.
