The $248 million expansion planned by West Virginia University Hospitals in Morgantown will be further delayed as the certificate of need hearing is rescheduled for July, according to a WBOY report.
The hearing was originally scheduled for next week. Monongalia General Hospital in Morgantown requested the hearing and submitted more than 100 questions for WVU Hospitals to answer before the hearing.
Now, however, Mon General has requested the state Health Care Authority dismiss the CON altogether. The HCA responded by requesting more information from WVU Hospitals and rescheduling the hearing for July 17, according to the report.
