Clear Lake Regional Medical Center, an HCA facility in Webster, Texas, will break ground on a $92 million expansion and renovation project this Thursday, according to a Galveston Daily News report.
New construction calls for a 154,470-square-foot patient tower that will house operating rooms, pre-operating and recovery rooms as well as a 30-bed adult intensive care unit. The project also calls for renovations at the hospital's Women's and Children's Center, which will eventually house new cesarean-section suites, a new newborn nursery and remodeled private rooms.
The project is estimated to be completed in spring 2013.
