HCA to Break Ground on Poinciana Hospital in February

Hospital operator HCA plans to break ground in February on a 30-bed hospital in Poinciana, Fla., according to an Orlando Business Journal report.

HCA announced in October it had bought land to build a 60-bed hospital in Poinciana; however, the system changed the size of the planned facility to 30-beds, and the state approved the change on Jan. 5, according to the report.

Ground breaking for the facility is planned for Feb. 7.
