Hospital Corporation of America's Central Florida Regional Hospital is moving along with plans to develop a $2 million to $10 million freestanding emergency department in Ovideo, Fla., according to an Orlando Business Journal report.
The Oviedo City Council approved a request by the hospital system to change zoning on the land where the center is planned from agricultural to commercial.
HCA is also planning a medical office building and hospital for the location after the emergency center is complete.
