Chattanooga, Tenn.-based Erlanger Health System has broken ground on a $7.8 million emergency center at Erlanger East in Chattanooga, according to a Chattanoogan report.
The 22,000-square-foot facility will include 17 treatment rooms; a six-bed clinical observation unit; full-service imaging and radiology, laboratory and respiratory services; and nuclear medicine capabilities.
Erlanger expects approximately 15,000 visits to the East Emergency Center the first year, according to the report.
