Construction has resumed on the $20 million Kearney (Neb.) Regional Medical Center, according to a Nebraska TV report.
Construction on the physician-owned facility began nearly four years ago, but was put on hold in 2009. The project had lost funding and the Nebraska legislature also put a two-year moratorium on any new hospital construction in the state.
The project is expected to be completed by August, according to the report.
