Community Memorial Hospital in Duluth, Minn., has begun the second phase of its $60 million, three-phase expansion and refurbishing project, according to a Duluth News Tribune report.
The first phase of the construction was complete in 2004. During this second phase, Community Memorial plans to construct a three-story, 80,000 square-foot addition to the hospital's original 20,000 square-foot 1950s building.
The project will cost $28 million. Construction began in May and is scheduled for completion in 2013.
