Community Hospital in Munster, Ind., has announced that it will begin a $33 million expansion project on Jan. 21, according to an Inside INdiana Business report.
The project will feature a four-story addition to the emergency department pavilion, which will include the Family Birthing Center with 25 private post-partum rooms, 12 private labor and delivery rooms and two caesarian section suites. It will also include a 32-bed Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.
The project is expected to take a year to complete, according to the report.
