Columbia Basin Hospital in Ephrata, Wash., will break ground on a new wing Friday, according to a Columbia Basin Herald report.
The new wing, which will replace an existing wing, will encompass approximately 17,000 square feet and will house 25 beds.
The replacement wing is the first phase of a $9.3 million, two-year project that will also include renovating the nursing home. Construction of the new wing is expected to be completed in about one year.
