Baylor Surgical Hospital in Texas Buys Land for New ASC

Baylor Surgical Hospital, a joint venture with Baylor Health Care, United Surgical Partners International and local physicians in Fort Worth, Texas, has bought 5.3 acres to build a surgery center, according to a Star Telegram report.

The new 77,000-square-foot surgery center will replace the current facility, which stands at 34,000 square feet. The facility will also offer more services in orthopedics, spine, pain management, urology, general surgery, plastics and ENT. The surgery center is expected to be completed in 2014.
