BayCare Health System, based in Clearwater, Fla., has begun construction on a medical campus in Riverview, Fla., according to a Tampa Tribune report.
The medical campus will include a new $225 million hospital, medical arts building and a physicians' office building. The hospital will house a 30-bed emergency department, 16-bed intensive care unit, 14-bed labor and delivery unit and 22 observation rooms.
The physicians' office building will open next spring, while the hospital and medical arts building will open in 2015.
